The National Security Internship is more robust than a typical internship and offers more advantages than a monetary scholarship. This program aims to develop the capacity of high-achieving undergraduate and graduate college students with critical skills and direct them toward potential careers at DHS or FBI. The National Security Internship will be open to eligible applicants who are able to meet the requirements to be granted a top-secret clearance. "'The biggest thing we learned was how to communicate better with this tough audience,' says Tom Peyton, Honda’s senior manager of marketing." |

Accord Coupe Marketing Challenge: New Car, New Generation Challenge: As Honda continues to develop industry leading reliable automobiles; reaching the young adult market remains a challenge. Honda and EdVenture Partners bridge this void by utilizing credible access to college campuses. Benefits to the Client: Adhering to specific program goals and objectives throughout the semester, students create and implement a variety of engaging campaign strategies on campus to promote the all new Accord Coupe. Students begin by researching perceptions and awareness of Honda and the Accord Coupe, and conclude by conducting post campaign research on changes in awareness and perception to measure the success of their campaigns. Benefits to the Faculty: Students receiving hands-on experience is arguably one of the best learning opportunities during their collegiate careers. Faculty work alongside EdVenture Partners in supporting and encouraging the students to run with their ideas, and have direct contact with Rubin Postaer and Associates (RPA) and Honda representatives as part of this real-world project. Benefits to the Students: One of the best in-class experiences
students will receive. Not only do students develop and implement a campaign
they created for their campus, they have the opportunity to submit their campaigns
into a Scholastic Achievement Award competition. Competition finalists present
their campaigns to American Honda Co. and RPA executives at their headquarters
in Torrance, California and compete for valuable scholarship awards for their
schools.
